Important Updates for XI Class Admission 2026-27 Applicants

Following the publication of SSC 2026 results, all Education Boards in Bangladesh are initiating the centralized online admission process for XI class. Adhering to Ministry of Education guidelines, selection will occur across 3 merit phases without any entry test.

XI Class Admission is the single centralized portal managed by the Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee. Students can apply to both government and private colleges across Bangladesh with a single online application.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria & Group Change Guidelines

Students who passed SSC/Dakhil/Equivalent exams in 2024, 2025, or 2026, as well as BOU students, are eligible to apply.

Science Group: Eligible for Science, Humanities, or Business Studies.
Humanities Group: Eligible for Humanities or Business Studies.
Business Studies: Eligible for Business Studies or Humanities.
Madrasah & Technical Boards: Equivalent GPA holders can apply to general colleges.
Merit Policy

Merit List Generation & Tie-Breaker Rules

Without entry exams, merit rank is strictly determined by SSC GPA and total marks via automated board software.

Step 1: Total Marks obtained in SSC exam.
Step 2 (Science): Marks in General Math -> Higher Math/Biology -> English -> Physics -> Chemistry.
Step 3 (Humanities/Business): Marks in English -> General Math -> Bangla.

Seat Allocation & Quota Policy Breakdown

93% of total seats are open for general merit candidates. The remaining 7% seats are reserved under official quotas:

Carefully follow these official steps when applying online:

Step 1: Pay 150 BDT fee via bKash, Nagad, or Rocket to obtain Transaction ID.
Step 2: Visit xiclassadmission.gov.bd and click 'Apply Online'.
Step 3: Enter SSC Roll, Registration Number, Education Board, and Passing Year.
Step 4: Choose between 5 to 10 colleges in priority order (1, 2, 3...).
Step 5: Provide an active mobile number and save the 6-digit Security PIN issued upon submission.

Pay the application fee easily using bKash, Nagad, or Rocket mobile banking apps before filling out the form:

1. Open bKash App and tap 'Pay Bill'.
2. Select 'Education' and search for 'XI Class Admission'.
3. Input Board Name, Passing Year, Roll Number, and Mobile Number.
4. Confirm BDT 150 fee amount and enter PIN to complete payment.
5. Save the Transaction ID (TrxID) for portal verification.

Detailed Breakdown of College Admission, Session & Tuition Fees

Government approved fee ceiling across various regions. Colleges are strictly prohibited from overcharging:

1. Dhaka Metropolitan (MPO): Max 5,000 BDT (Admission & Session Charge).
2. Dhaka Metropolitan (Non-MPO): Max 7,500 BDT (Bangla) / 8,500 BDT (English).
3. Other Metro Areas: Max 3,000 BDT (MPO) and 5,000 BDT (Non-MPO).
4. District Headquarters: 2,000 BDT (MPO) to 3,000 BDT (Non-MPO).
5. Upazila/Rural Areas: 1,500 BDT (MPO) to 2,000 BDT (Non-MPO).
6. Monthly Tuition: Standard government-approved monthly tuition fee only.
7. Confirmation Fee: 335 BDT online board confirmation fee to lock seat upon merit selection.

Bring original documents and attested photocopies on your admission day:

1. Original SSC Academic Transcript/Mark sheet + 2 attested photocopies.
2. Original Testimonial from high school.
3. Attested photocopies of SSC Admit Card and Registration Card.
4. 4 Passport-size photos and 2 Stamp-size photos of student.
5. Photocopies of Student Birth Certificate & Parents' NID Cards.
6. Printout copy of 335 BDT Online Confirmation Payment Slip.
